Welcome to your first Spanish adventure! Spanish is a language that is rich in history and culture. Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world with over 400 million native speakers. In Spanish 1 we will begin to introduce the language and culture of the 20 Spanish speaking countries. This class consists of the four basic skill areas: writing, speaking, reading, and listening comprehension. In this class, you will begin to read, write, and speak in Spanish as well as to learn about the various cultures and people who represent the Spanish-speaking world.
